All the blanks on the maps are filled. Where is there left to settle? The Beyond.
The Beyond is a mystical land fittingly beyond the Endless Sea. It is supposedly a land of prosperity, fertility, and peace. However, in order to get there, one must travel over a mountain range, across the desert, through a vast forest with vast dangers, and across the ENDLESS Sea.
You may wonder: Why not sail out to sea in a different direction? Well... in all other directions, there's the edge of the world. That will happen to take you to a... different type of beyond.
The Sentians wish to colonize such a place, for any other colonizing attempts will provoke unnecessary war.
The Oppresians are, well, oppressed by their king and wish to leave to live in an utopian society. Many are willing to flock under the banner of the rebellion to do so.
Magra is... well... magic. Nobody knows what kind of things lurk there, so nobody wants to go there. However, there is intelligent and dangerous life out there. Even though they might be comfortable with their way of life, ideas of something better can always pop into the mind of some vampire, druid, or werewolf.
So, in the end, it's a race to see who succeeds first, or if anybody succeeds at all, or if to see if there is really a beyond!
